Committee Goals/Mission

The Bylaws and Policies Committee is dedicated to fostering a transparent and equitable organizational environment by developing and maintaining comprehensive bylaws and policies. We aim to safeguard the integrity of our governance processes, ensure compliance with relevant laws, and empower all members through clear guidelines and effective communication. Our mission is to enhance organizational effectiveness and support our overarching goals by making our bylaws and policies accessible, practical, and reflective of the values and objectives of our organization.

Meeting Schedule

The Strategic Plan Committee will have its first meeting in October; meetings will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the MPAAA Office in Lansing.

Meeting invitations include a Webex link for members who wish to participate remotely. Whenever weather and circumstances permit, in-person attendance is encouraged. January and February meetings will be held remotely only.

Member Expectations

Member expectations include monthly attendance and active participation during committee meetings.
