Fall Conference Registration Now Open

MPAAA proudly offers its membership the annual Upper and Lower Peninsula Fall Conferences.  Our Lower Peninsula Conference will be on September 14-16 at the Bluewater Convention Center in Port Huron.  Our Upper Peninsula conference will be at Mission Point Resort on Mackinac Island from Monday, September 28 through Wednesday, September 30th.  These conferences provide valuable information for everyone working with Pupil Accounting, Pupil Auditing, and Educational Data. 

MPAAA seeks to continue its effort to be your primary ‘go-to’ resource regarding school funding and the legislation pertaining to school operations and funding.  Our conferences are designed to assist anyone working with student data, school funding, enrollment and membership requirements, and auditing.  The one thing we can assure you, whether you are attending the Fall conference in Port Huron or on Mackinac Island, is that this conference is not to be missed! 

Speakers and Sessions

Various speakers from around the state (including CEPI, MDE, MiLEAP, etc.) and local school districts and ISDs will be in attendance.  Session topics range from basic sessions for beginners to advanced topics for experienced staff.  We will offer duplicate sessions whenever time allows to ensure you have as many options as possible.  Certification courses will also be offered for those still working on an MSBO certification.  Please see the Session Description document for all of the sessions tentatively scheduled.

MPAAA Logo Store reopened

MPAAA has reopened its online webstore for those who might wish to own an MPAAA-logoed shirt, jacket, or other merchandise.

The site: https://mpaaafall26.itemorder.com/shop/home/ will be open through September 1st, and items purchased should arrive in time for you to show off your new purchases at the fall conference!

Membership Renewal

For those who wish to continue their membership in MPAAA, please be aware that renewal for the 26/27 year is now available HERE.

The renewal cost is $125, and all renewals will extend your membership to June 30, 2027.

We hope you find your membership in MPAAA valuable and will consider renewing.

Upcoming Conference Dates

We get frequent calls and emails at the MPAAA office asking about future conference dates.  We're posting all known dates here and will include this article in each future Newsblast issue, adding new dates as we finalize those arrangements.
