Due to the uncertain financial situation in which schools currently find themselves, MPAAA is offering its Pupil Accounting Bootcamp series of trainings as virtual sessions this summer AT NO COST to all current members of the Michigan Pupil Accounting and Attendance Association. Members can gain a valuable understanding of the current requirements of Pupil Accounting as well as work towards their Certification program.

Description & Overview

This will be a virtual session to be held from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm on Wednesday, July 29, 2020.

The presenters for this session will be Anne Hansknecht and Caitlin Groom with CEPI's data collections division.

The Center for Educational Performance and Information (CEPI) staff provide an in-depth overview of submissions impacting a variety of CEPI application. These include the Michigan Student Data System (MSDS), the School Infrastructure Database (SID), Financial Information Database (FID), Educational Entity Master (EEM), Graduation and Dropout Application (GAD) and Registry for Personnel (REP). Information about P-20 longitudinal data systems may be included as needed.

This is one of the required courses for those pursuing an MSBO certification as a Pupil Accounting Specialist, Pupil Accounting Auditor, or Specialist in Educational Data.
