Description
Data Quality 1 – Data Quality at the input level
Are you a school secretary, registrar, or another staff member who inputs student data? If so, then this 3-hour data quality session is for you! Designed for those doing student data entry, this session will cover:
- What the data is used for, and why it matters to get it right!
- The benefits of high-quality data and the costs of low-quality data.
- Techniques to make your job as easy as possible to get the data right.
- Data Privacy requirements and what you need to know to protect your student’s privacy.
This newly designed session will be presented by Rob Dickinson, the Executive Director of the Michigan Pupil Accounting and Attendance Association (MPAAA). Rob’s 25 years in student data and pupil accounting have given him a keen sense of the challenges that school secretaries and registrars face in their jobs. The tips and tricks he will share with you will help you get through the data-entry part of your job quickly and easily, so you can change hats, and get on with the rest of the day!
Cost Information
The cost of the Workshop will be $70 for MPAAA members and $95 for non-members. You can register online with a credit card by pressing the register button below, or if a credit card isn't available to you, you can print out the registration form HERE, and mail it in with a check.
Cancellation Policy & Contact Information
Members and guests will be accessed a cancellation fee of $50 for event registrations canceled by December 31, 2019. There will be no refunds for cancellations occurring after this date.
Please contact our Executive Director to request cancellation of a workshop in which you are registered, or for any other event or MPAAA related question.
*NO REFUNDS* will be granted if cancellation is after the cutoff date December 31, 2019.
